Colombo, Sri Lanka

Job Description - IT Manager

Engagement:  Contract

Location: Onsite

Working Hours: 02.30 pm to 11.30 pm

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful  IT Manager  to lead and coordinate the technology efforts of a

growing real estate company based in the US. This is a high-impact role for someone who is comfortable

navigating a broad range of technical challenges and excels at getting things done—whether through

hands-on involvement or by bringing together the right people and solutions.

The ideal candidate is not necessarily a deep technical expert in every area, but someone with a strong

grasp of IT systems, a practical mindset, and a natural sense of ownership. You’ll be the go-to person for

all things tech—ensuring our systems run efficiently, supporting business operations, and enabling

scalable, real-world solutions that drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

●  Oversee and manage day-to-day IT operations across the organization.

●  Identify business needs and coordinate the implementation of appropriate technology solutions.

●  Ensure IT infrastructure, systems, and tools effectively support ongoing business activities.

●  Act as the primary point of contact for all IT-related matters—resolving issues directly or

coordinating with relevant teams and vendors.

●  Manage relationships with IT service providers, contractors, and software vendors.

●  Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of issues, delegating or escalating as needed.

●  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in workflows and

    systems.

●  Oversee hardware, software, network, and basic security requirements.

●  Contribute to light development or automation tasks where applicable (e.g., scripts, dashboards,

    integrations).

●  Maintain accurate documentation, licenses, and asset records.

What We’re Looking For:

●  5+ years of experience in IT management, systems coordination, or technical project roles.

●  Exposure to software implementation or development (e.g., scripting, automation) is a plus.

●  Strong communication and organizational skills; able to work seamlessly with both technical and

    non-technical stakeholders.

●  Proven ability to take initiative, manage competing priorities, and handle multiple projects at once.

●  A problem-solver by nature—someone who enjoys untangling complex issues and delivering

    smart, actionable solutions.
