Working Hours : 02.30pm to 11.30pm

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Accountant will oversee financial management and reporting for large-scale real estate development projects. This role requires strong leadership, analytical capabilities, and experience in managing complex project finances. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the full accounting cycle for multiple real estate development projects, including budget preparation, project costing, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Review project contracts, monitor commitments, and track financial obligations.

- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including monthly project P&L, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and projections.

- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training.

- Ensure timely and accurate financial close processes, maintaining compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.

- Facilitate internal and external audits, responding to inquiries and providing documentation as required.

- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Equivalent Qualification.

- Professional accounting designation (CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.

- Minimum 5-7 years experience in project accounting, specifically within real estate development or construction.

- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

- Advanced Excel skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
